Absolutely! We carefully match your crown’s color, shape, and translucency to your surrounding teeth. The crown procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so you shouldn’t feel any pain during treatment. While the crown itself can’t decay, the tooth underneath can still develop cavities at the gum line where the crown meets your natural tooth. This is why maintaining excellent oral hygiene and regular dental visits are crucial. Proper care prevents decay and ensures your crown continues to protect your tooth effectively.
If your crown comes loose or falls off, contact Canyon Rim Dental immediately and save the crown if possible. Avoid chewing on that side and keep the area clean. In many cases, we can clean and re-cement the same crown. Don’t attempt to reattach it yourself with household adhesives, as this can damage both the crown and your tooth.

You’ll have to forgive me cause I can’t do names, but the doctor and all his staff are amazing. The hygienist we see is wonderful and thorough and even has a great sense of humor, the doctor is so gentle and his work really seems to be holding up, and even the assistant we usually see is an absolute delight. Not to mention the receptionist, we could chat for hours. No issues with their fillings, and the experience was far less painful than I’ve had anywhere else. I really love going to this place, 10/10 recommend
